Marietta Bowman is a Principal Research Associate for Social Policy and Economics Research. Her expertise is in the design and management of survey data collection operations that incorporate individualized protocols to work with diverse target populations. Bowman has supported projects for clients such as HHS, ED, NSF, USDA, and CMS.
Bowman serves as Field Operations Director for USDA’s Access, Participation, Eligibility, and Certification Study. She is Project Director for the Federal Facilities Research and Development Survey for NSF. She recently served as data collection Task Leader for the Puerto Rico Health and Well-Being Survey, a household survey to assess food security of residents throughout Puerto Rico. Bowman was also Project Director for the NSF Merit Review project, overseeing numerous survey and analytic support activities, including the design and data collection, analysis, and reporting activities for the biennial Merit Review web survey.
